Christmas presents can be so hard to pick for people, especially if they are fussy or people you rarely see. I find it easier to pick for my brother and parents as they drop hints throughout the autumn months, but my Nan is so hard to buy for. Since she has started having anxiety issues she doesn’t drink, I used to always get her a bottle of wine but now I struggle to think of something. So I thought about what would make her happy and what could make a Nan happier than seeing pictures of the entire family?
I picked a desk calendar (and reasonably priced at £10.99) for my Nan, so that she can see photographs of all the family all year round. She has wallpaper up in every room so a wall hanging calendar would not suit her. I love the option of the desk calendar because it can sit on her mantel piece or perhaps her side table. Either way I think she will love it. I filled the months with different photographs, including people on their birth month.
I also picked out a wall calendar for my colleague at work who wanted to create a calendar to give to her Nan as well. I love how high quality the pages are in comparison to some store bought flimsy ones.
There are kitchen calendars, large, extra large and extra extra large calendars (for those busy bodies who need extra room to write their reminders on), a3, a4 and a5, and the desk sized calendar too. So there is literally a calendar size for every occasion. It’s easy to upload photos from Facebook, Instagram and Flickr, adding text and embellishments to each design. Overall it took us both around 20 minutes to complete the entire design, adding in photos and decorating with our own embellishments. The new Snapfish design makes adding all of this much easier.
The large hanging wall calendar (priced at £19.99) is an a4 size and fits lots of writing in the month – which is very much needed if you have a big family with lots of things to write. The hanging wall calendar also has the previous and following month in the bottom too.
I am absolutely in love with my desk calendar for my Nan, I can’t wait to see her face when she opens it up. Snapfish have so many other personalised stocking fillers that you can pick from and they show far more initiative and personalisation than purchasing any old thing off the web.
Snapfish do so many other personalised gifts that would really make a family or friends Christmas. It shows how much you really love someone (to spend time putting it altogether).
